Coming from unidentified parentage,
this cultivar was registered in 1988 by
Anne Arett of Minnesota and
Peter Ruh of Ohio.
The medium size mound grows to 14 inches in height with a width of 30
inches. Its foliage is wavy and narrow. The bright purple
flowers bloom in August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "The name "Eunice Choice" reflects the fact that
Eunice Fisher admired this plant during a 1979 visit to Anne Arett's
garden..."
