Hosta 'Dawn Treader'

A sport of H. 'Aspen Gold', this cultivar was registered by Alex Malloy of New York in 2000. The small size plant grows to about 10 inches in height with a spread of around 22 inches. The light gold foliage has a chartreuse colored marginal variegation. It has leaves with moderate corrugation and good substance. The near-white flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has a very slow growth rate."

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a high fantasy novel for children by C. S. Lewis.
