Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan, registered this hybrid of H. 'Ginko Craig' × H. plantaginea in 1985. The small size plant has narrow, wavy green foliage with thin substance. It grows into a small size hosta about 9 inches in height with a spread of 20 inches. Medium purple flowers bloom in August.

This cultivar is sometimes listed as H. 'Curley Top'.
