Hosta 'Colossal'

This is an introduction by Robert Savory of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota who registered it in 1977 as a seedling of an unknown Japanese hybrid. As the name implies, it forms a giant size mound up to 30 inches high and over 8 feet wide. The leaves are slightly rippled, moderately corrugated and are slightly shiny. Funnel shaped, pale lavender flowers bloom in late June.
