Hosta 'Chesieres September Frost'

This is a tissue culture sport of H. 'Frosted Jade' which was registered by Liselotte Hirsbrunner of Switzerland in 2001. This large size (20 inches high by 32 inches wide) hosta has light blue-green leaves with a white marginal variegation that has grey streaks. Leaves are slightly cupped both up and down, slightly corrugated and have good substance.  It has pale lavender flowers that are funnel shaped and borne on a 42 inch scape from July into August followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...large, showy mound; no drawstring; good growth rate."
