Hosta 'Candlewood'

This H. montana type plant was introduced by Pauline Banyai of Michigan and registered by Stuart Asch. It forms a large, vase shaped mound with leaves that are ovate shaped and slightly shiny on the underside. The flowers are very pale lavender in color and appear in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This is one of the last cultivars developed by the late Pauline Banyai."
