Hosta 'Bud Lite'
 

Registered by Floyd Rogers of Illinois on behalf of Dr. Doug and Mardy Beilstein of Ohio in 2017, this cultivar is a seedling of (H. 'Neat Splash' × H. 'Rising Sun') × (H. 'Grand Slam' × Unnamed). It is an upright growing, large size hosta about 18 inches high by 28 inches wide with medium green foliage. The leaves are slightly cupped, ovate, very shiny on top and dull on the bottom. Its petioles and flower scapes have dark red speckles. Purple flowers with darker purple stripes and white at the interior base of each petal bloom in August. It sets seeds but their viability was undetermined at the time of registration.
