Originated
by
Dr. Ralph (Herb)
and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan and registered on
their behalf by
Rod Kuenster and
The American Hosta
Society in
2010,
this cultivar is of unidentified parentage.
It is a medium size hosta about 12 inches high by
20 inches wide with medium blue-green foliage. The nearly round leaves are
slightly cupped. Pure white flowers bloom from June into July on scapes 16 to 20
inches tall but the viability of the seeds was not known at the time of
registration.
The registration materials state: "...thick substance."
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009),
this is considered a Tardiana-type hosta.
