Originated by
Jocelyne
Bastille of Aux Mille Hostas in Canada, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage.
It is a small size hosta with chartreuse colored foliage
that changes to yellow later in the season. The leaves
have thick substance and is wavy along the edge of the
blade. Its near white flowers bloom from June into July.
According to the originator, this cultivar tolerates sun
and is resistant to slugs.
There is a classic older
cultivar named H. 'Aurora Borealis' which,
of course, is the
English translation of this name but is a plant with a
different description.
