This medium size (15 inches high by 30 inches
wide) tissue culture sport of H. 'Aspen
Gold' was originated by
Patricia Scolnik
of Breeze Hill Plant Lab in North Carolina and registered on her behalf by
Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. The semi-upright hosta has golden yellow
foliage with white marginal variegation and pale lavender flowers. Its leaves
are slightly rippled, dull on top, broadly ovate, slightly cupped and moderately
corrugated.
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009), "...MyHosta
database...indicate that this is the same as 'Hoosier Homecoming' and was found
in 1993."
