Originated by Thomas Donahue of Massachusetts and registered by Alex Malloy in 2001, this cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. It grows into a large size
hosta about 21 inches high by 40 inches wide with light
green foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, heavily
corrugated and have a cordate base. Tubular shaped
flowers bloom from June into July.
In Greek mythology, Artemis was the god of the hunt,
wilderness, wildlife and, of all things, plagues.
