This medium size (14
inches high by 32 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Maya Kingsnake'.
It was originated by
Alttara
Scheer of Connecticut and
Madelon Gilligan of New Zealand who registered it in 2015.
The
greenish yellow (more green later in the season) foliage
is slightly rippled, broadly ovate, slightly wavy and
dull on top. Its petioles are red. Pale lavender,
tubular flowers bloom from July into August. (end of
January into February in the Southern Hemisphere). It
sets seeds but their viability was not known at the time
of registration.
