Hosta 'American Gold Cup'

This non-registered cultivar is from Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It is a seedling selection of unidentified parentage which grows to about 13 inches in height with a width of around 26 inches. The foliage ranges from chartreuse to gold and is cupped, moderately corrugated with good substance. Very pale purple flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...develops an open mound habit and appears to have a 'Tokudama' background.
