This seedling of unidentified parentage was originated by Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts and registered in 2009 by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) on her behalf. It is a large size plant (19 inches high by 48 inches wide) with highly variable dark green foliage that has cream colored streaked variegation. The leaves are slightly shiny on top, broadly ovate to nearly round, slightly cupped and lightly corrugated. Lavender flowers bloom in Massachusetts in July. It produces viable seeds but is known as a poor seed setter for hybridizers.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...named for the distinguished Boston-area plantsman...has produced a number of stable chimeral forms that have been named."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Variegation is unstable so division of the clump is necessary as soon as the streaking starts reverting to only marginal variegation."
