Hosta 'All Jazzed Up'

A sport of H. 'Snow Crust', this cultivar was registered by Loleta Powell of Powell's Iris Haven in North Carolina in 2000. The medium size hosta grows to around 18 inches in height and spreads to a width of about 36 inches. The slightly wavy, green foliage is yellow to green streaked with a yellow to white marginal variegation. In mid to late July, it bears fragrant, pale lavender flowers.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...as producing fragrant, near-white flowers in late summer meaning that it cannot be derived from 'Snow Crust' (lavender, non-fragrant flowers). Additionally, the leaf underside is shiny versus covered with a thin underside bloom for 'Snow Crust'."
