This cultivar of unidentified parentage but thought to be related to H. nakaiana was originated by Charles Applegate of Ohio registered on his behalf by Registrar, Kevin Walek in 2009.. It is a small size hosta with medium green colored foliage that is whitish and shiny on the bottom. Pale purple flowers in numerous dense clusters bloom from late June into July.
