This is a self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Elegans' was registered by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio in 2007. It is part of his American Indian Series of hostas.

The giant size mound grows to about 38 inches in height with a spread of 54 inches. From late June into July, near white flowers are borne on 40 inch scapes.

According to the label, this is an Indian tribe of the Lake Superior region.
