Hosta 'Academy Gold Codswallop'

This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'King Tut' which was registered in 2006 by Steve Chamberlain of New York. It is a medium size plant about 12 inches high by 35 inches wide with greenish yellow foliage. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Put this in the running for the hosta with the most unusual name. Oh!...I almost forgot about 'Academy Brobdingnagian Viridity'!!"

Codswallop means "nonsense".
