Registered by Steve Chamberlain of New York in 2008,
this fast growing, large size (19 inches high by 53
inches wide) cultivar is a sport of H. 'Academy Fire'.
It is a greenish yellow hosta with golden yellow
marginal variegation. The leaves are lightly cupped,
broadly ovate and dull on top. Medium lavender, striped
flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to
29 inches tall. According
to the registration materials: "...new leaves have
variegation...variegation disappears through the
season."
