this large size (19 inches high by 33 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of
an
F1
seedling of H. 'Ginko Craig'.
An upright growing hosta, its foliage is medium green,
heavily rippled, lanceolate, moderately wavy and
slightly shiny on top. The petioles are green with red
spotted centers. Tubular shaped flowers bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes up to 51 inches tall.

Tolkien reference: Fangorn Forest was a deep, dark
woodland that grew beneath the southern Misty Mountains, under
the eastern flanks of that range. It gained notoriety as the
habitat of the Ents in the Third Age.
