Hosta 'Abba Rough'

Of unknown origination but introduced by Paul Aden of New York and registered by Mark Zilis of T&Z or Q&Z Nursery in Illinois and The American Hosta Society in 2010, this slow growing hosta is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Tokudama'. The foliage is intensely blue-green and the broadly ovate leaves are moderately wavy, heavily corrugated and glaucous on top. Near white flowers bloom from June into July and the seed set is unknown.

The registration materials state: "...medium large, heavily corrugated, blue-green foliage."
