Wood Furniture for the Landscape - Wooden benches can be found in almost every public and most private landscape gardens. Rot resistant woods such as cedar and teak are often used in benches. However, oak, pine and other woods also make fine benches although they may need more maintenance such as periodic oil, painting or other refinishing to prevent decay.
