This is the garden of Iowa
State University, the land-grant university in Iowa. There
are 17 acres of gardens along with a good size conservatory
that contains a butterfly house. It is located next to the
football stadium on campus.

This is an outstanding university garden and is a must see if
you are in the area. The gardens are well maintained and a
key
feature is an extensive collection of roses that were
hybridized by Dr. Griffith Buck at Iowa State. There is a
great display of exotic butterflies in the conservatory.
