This garden is worth the visit if you are especially
interested in a wide variety of unusual species of trees and
shrubs. It is a 4 acre property that was originally a
private garden and plant nursery which was started in 1958.
So, there are a lot of plants that were established over 50
years ago and are now nice sized specimens.
The facility was taken over by the community of Shoreline,
Washington in 2008 and is now run as a non-profit garden and
nursery. Sale of plants helps with projects in the garden. |
