This is the home of Andrew Jackson (March 15, 1767 – June 8, 1845), the seventh President of the United States (1829–1837). Besides its historic significance, the gardens are kept in good shape in the same manner in which they existing during Jackson's life. There are also may large specimen trees that are labeled throughout the grounds.
