We have visited the Chicago Botanic Gardens several times over the years. This beautiful facility is set up as a series of gardens located on islands created by digging canals through the property.

Wonderful Japanese garden, rose gardens, English gardens and perennial gardens. They also have practical gardening areas to show techniques for fruit and vegetable growing. There is a great garden which shows ways to assist people with physical limitations to continue the wonderful activity of gardening.
