The park runs along the Seine on the site
of the former Bercy wine warehouses. The 30 acre site which
contains nine different gardens was opened to the public in
1994. Included is a romantic garden, a vegetable garden, an
orchard and a scent garden.
It is located on
Rue Joseph Kessel
across from the new Bibliothèque
Nationale. Educational programs in the
art of gardening and environmental sciences are offered to
school children at the park. There are also displays on
gardening and wine scattered around the park. Nearby is the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy.
