The Men's Garden Club of
Paris is devoted to the art and science of gardening in
our beautiful city. Founded in 1834 as a branch of the French
National Men's Garden Society, the Club became open to all
regardless of gender in 1981.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the
month at the clubhouse on the grounds of the Jardin des Plantes in
Paris. Prospective members should be residents of the City of Paris
or the surrounding Arrondissements.
Members are eligible for decreased fares on the
Metro system during the spring and summer months. Also, trips to
Monet's garden and those at Versailles are at a reduced rate.
Each year, our members volunteer countless hours to
beautification projects within Paris. We are known for our selfless
dedication to planting flowers, trees and shrubs for the
glorification of our magnificent city. |
