This sport of H. 'Sum and Substance' was registered by Dr. Leonard Jones of North Carolina in 1998. The giant size mound grows to 30 inches in height with a spread of 64 inches. It has thick substance which  makes it resistant to slug damage. In late July and into August, it produces large pale lavender flowers on four foot tall scapes.
