This fast growing, upright cultivar was registered in 2009 by Franc and Sally Freeman of Iowa and is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size (27 inches high by 50 inches wide) hosta with dark green foliage. The leaves are ovate, flat and slightly shiny on top. Its purple flowers form buds from mid-August into September but do not open on scapes up to 42 inches tall.
