Originated by
Dr. Doug Beilstein
and
Mardy Beilstein of Ohio, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as a hybrid of H. 'Sum and Substance'. It is a
medium size (14 inches high by 24 inches wide) hosta with
yellow foliage. The lanceolate leaves are slightly wavy
and very shiny on top. They curl downward at the tip.
It bears near white flowers from late July into August
but does not set seeds.
According to the registration form: "The last 2/3 of
leaf to tip folds over so it looks like a yellow corn
leaf." |
