this fast growing cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Pilgrim'.
It grows into a small size plant about 9 inches high by
28 inches wide with green foliage that has a cream
colored marginal variegation. The leaves are ovate,
modertely twisted, folded, wavy and dull on top and
bottom. Pale lavender flowers on scapes 11 to 16 inches
tall bloom from July into August followed by viable
seeds. The flowers have purple interior stripes and the
buds are dark lavender in color.
The registration materials state: "...Leaves have
showy, wavy margins with a single prominent wave that
begins one-third of the way from the leaf base.
Grey-green color appears where center & margin colors
overlap..."
