this cultivar is a seedling of [(H. 'Fudge Ripple' ×
H. montana) × (H. 'Skylight' × H. 'King Lizard')] × (H. 'Key West' ×
H. 'Blue Hawaii') . It is a large size hosta
which grows to about 26 inches high by 48 inches wide.
The foliage is intensely blue-green with greenish-yellow
streaked variegation. Its leaves have heavily rippled
margins and are glaucous on top, moderately
twisted, heavily corrugated, heavily wavy and slightly
cupped. Very pale lavender flowers with light lavender
stripes bloom from mid-June into July on blue-green scapes 26 to 32 inches tall. It sets viable seeds in
streaky green pods. The
registration materials state: "...Nicely formed
clump with nice streaking, corrugation and leaf form.
Registrant also likes the very large seed pods."
