This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Topaz' which was originated by
Bob Axmear of
Waukon, Iowa. The
blue-green foliage has chartreuse to gold colored
marginal variegation. It is a medium size (16 inches
high by 33 inches wide) hosta with
leaves that are broadly ovate, folded and have a
distinct tip. Pale purple flowers that bloom from late July into
August on scapes up to 18 inches tall.

Grenfell (2009) states: "Moderate to rapid growth rate. A superb new
introduction...The leaf margin becomes yellow making a
greater contrast between it and the leaf center."
