Originated by Jeff Moore of Wisconsin, this non-registered cultivar is a seedling of an F1 seedling of  "Moore Seedling Exp 36" × H. 'Kokuryu'.

The Hosta Journal, (2016 Vol. 47 No 1) states that this hosta has "red" flowers and should be on the market in 2017.
