This
medium size (18 inches high by 29 inches wide) cultivar was registered in 1999
by Lillian Maroushek of Minnesota and is of unidentified parentage. It is a golden yellow
hosta with foliage that is heavily rippled and slightly
shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom in July on scapes
about 20 inches tall.
The registration
materials say that this hosta is "18 in. (46 cm)
diameter, 29 in. (74 cm) high" which would be a truly
interesting looking plant. Also, the flower scapes are
20 inches tall which would place them below the foliage. We suspect that it is an
error in data entry.
