This fast growing, medium
size (15 inches high by 30 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Venetian Blue' was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009.
It has intensely blue-green foliage that is elliptic,
intensely twisted, heavily rippled, deeply wavy,
moderately corrugated and has a glaucous bloom on top.
Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on
scapes up to 32 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...Unruly, twisted foliage and deep blue-green
foliage color on a relatively narrow leaf blade..."
