This medium size (14
inches high by 29 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Venetian Blue' was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009.
It is intensely blue-green with foliage that is
elliptic, moderately corrugated, intensely twisted,
heavily rippled and has a glaucous bloom on top. Tubular
flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about
30 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...Unruly, twisted foliage and deep blue-green
foliage color on a relatively narrow leaf blade..."
