This
miniature size (4 inches high by 12 inches wide) cultivar was
originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb)
and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan but registered in 2010
by Rod Kuenster of Iowa on their behalf, and is of unidentified parentage. It is a light
green hosta with leaves that are ovate, slightly wavy and
slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes 16 to 19 inches tall.
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009),
this is a seedling of
Hosta nakaiana.
