 This upright growing,
medium size (11 inches high by 13 inches wide) hybrid of H. longipes
hypoglauca
× H. pycnophylla was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the
Netherlands in 2009.
It has medium blue-green foliage that is ovate, slightly
rippled, slightly wavy and slightly shiny on top with red
petioles. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-August into
September on scapes about 8 to 14 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...Nice
blue green leaves with powdery white backs and red
colored petioles...becomes medium green at the end of summer..."
