This open-pollinated seedling of an
unnamed seedling of
H. pycnophylla was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the
Netherlands in 2015. The upright growing, small
size (8 inches high by 11 inches wide) hosta has yellow
foliage which lightens in color as the season
progresses.
Its leaves are lightly twisted, deeply wavy,
moderately corrugated, white on the bottom and slightly
shiny on top. Deep purple, tubular flowers bloom from
late July into August and it sets viable seeds.
