This non-registered
cultivar of unidentified parentage was introduced by
Jeroen Linneman of the
Netherlands
in 2013. According to the originator, this cultivar appears to have
H.
rupufraga or
H. pulchella in its background
but the specific parents are not known.
The shiny leaves are dark green and have thick
substance.
Jeroen's website says, "Greenstone refers to several types of
hard, durable and highly valued nephrite jade, bowenite. These
Greenstone is found in southern New Zealand. Pounamu is the
Māori name."
