This open-pollinated seedling of
an unnamed seedling of
H. pycnophylla was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the
Netherlands in 2015. It is a large size hosta
about 24 inches high by 22 inches wide with light green
foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, moderately
twisted, intensely wavy and slightly shiny on top. Pale
lavender, tubular flowers bloom from August into
September and it bears viable seeds.
According to the
registration material, "...very intensely serrated edge
and the leaves have white backs."
