Hosta 'Valley's Double Dutch'

Registered by Jeroen Linneman of the Netherlands  in 2018, this upright growing, small size (10 inches high by 12 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a greyish blue-green hosta with yellow-green marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, heavily twisted, wavy and very shiny on top. Its petioles have dark purple spots on the lower end. Pale lavender flowers bloom from August into September on scapes up to about 16 inches in height followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Wavy leaves are thick with a great margin that is yellow green in spring & deep white in summer. A real eye-catcher in the garden...yellow-green margins turn white in summer."
