This seedling of H. 'Empress Wu' was registered by
Jeroen Linneman of the
Netherlands in 2015.
It is out of seeds
that came from
Virginia and Brian Skaggs of Indiana
in 2005. This fast growing, giant
size hosta reaches about 55 inches in height with a
spread of around 75 inches.
The intensely blue-green
foliage is broadly ovate, slightly folded, slightly wavy,

lavender, tubular flowers bloom from June into August
and it sets viable seeds.
According to the registration
material, "...blue stays long into the growing season."
