This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Uzu-no-mai' from Japan. It forms a miniature size (2˝ inches high by 5 inches
wide) mound of ovate, wavy, foliage with smooth texture
and better than average substance. The dark green
foliage has a wide, creamy white marginal variegation. Purple striped
flowers bloom in August.
