this fast growing, medium size (15 inches high by 36
inches wide) cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Maraschino Cherry'. The ovate leaves
are dark green with a light green marginal variegation.
They are relatively flat and slightly shiny on top. Pale
lavender flowers with reddish-purple scapes bloom in
August followed by viable seeds in purple pods.
The registration materials state: "...Dark green
center with lighter green margins...obtained from a
