According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...registered as a
H. 'Sieboldiana'
seedling (Eisel 1992); but more likely a hybrid
of 'Crispula' ×
H. ventricosa."
This large size cultivar was
registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator,
Eunice V. Fisher of Wisconsin in 1991. It
reaches about 34 inches high and 65 inches wide with slightly
rippled, slightly corrugated foliage with deep lobes at the base
and deep veins. The plant bears purple flowers.
