Originated by Eberhard Schuster of Germany and named by Dr. Ullrich Fischer of Germany, this giant size, non-registered cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Ming Jade'. It has dark green, heavily corrugated leaves that are very shiny on top and bears pale lavender flowers. It is similar to H. 'Vim and Vigor'.

According to the article in The Gesellshaft der Staudenfreunde webiste, Mr. Shuster received the seeds from Ursula Syre-Herz of South Carolina.
