This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Gunther's Prize' from Marco Fransen of Fransen Hostas in the Netherlands. The leaves are dark green with an irregular yellow marginal variegation which changes to pale green later in the summer. It is a giant size (30 inches high) hosta with leaves that are broadly ovate, slightly wavy, slightly rippled and slightly shiny on top. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from July into August. It sets viable seeds.
